Welcome to my cozy cabin.
I’m Sherry Hall–multi-passionate artist, author,
wife to an amazing husband,
barn queen, cancer survivor,
and most of all, a child of God.

I struggled for a long time to figure out my why. Why do I write? Why do I create quirky art? Those questions kept nagging me. I guess, like a lot of folks, I want to leave something behind. Something that would make a difference, something lasting. 

Then I'd respond to myself with, "How could a story possibly make a difference in the world? And what about cartoon llamas? Neither saves souls nor solves world hunger." Right. My important legacy I leave is sharing my love for Christ. But what about the stories? The art? What's the why? 

It finally makes sense to me. I want to lift people's spirits and point to Jesus in everything I do. I like to make people smile with my art and my stories, to warm their hearts and to see people chuckle at Vespa-riding pigs!
If you've stumbled onto me for the first time, you may not know I also tell stories for grownups--stories where the good guys, or gals, still win. Where people still help each other. Where romance is clean and so is the dialog. Those are the stories I want, need, to tell. Call me Pollyanna, but I know God never intended for evil to become such a popular read. 
It may not world changing, but it's a special gift God has given me to do.
