What is your story? |
If you are new to Bible journaling, you may find it hard at first. Not the fact you're spending time in God's word, but the fact that you can't just rip out the page and start over if you make a mistake. It's ok! You don't have to create intricate designs or spend hours painstakingly creating a page. Even fifteen minutes makes a difference. Creating is good for the soul, and spending time focused on scripture is even better! Start with something easy. I love the fact I have a Shepherd. Psalm 100:3 reminds me who I belong to. In just fifteen minutes you can add some white acrylic paint to a couple of fluffy sheep, add the head, feet, outline, and text with permanent black ink, and dab on some watercolors. I used watercolor crayons on this one. If you read my last post about perfection being over-rated and took it to heart, it will give you the freedom to work in your Bible without fear of messing it up.
