KidLit Art (and for the Young at Heart ❤️)
Welcome to my KidLit world. I’m an author and illustrator who creates whimsical, story-driven artwork designed to spark imagination, invite giggles, and warm hearts. My illustrations focus on expressive characters, cozy settings, and visual storytelling that encourages kids (and those who refuse to grow old) to dream big, laugh often, and remember they are deeply loved by God.
I primarily create and illustrate my own picture books, but I am also open to select illustration projects with publishers or authors who have a clear vision and a completed manuscript.
If you’re a publisher, art director, or author seeking a whimsical, faith-rooted illustration style for a children’s book, I’d love to hear more about your project.

Drawn to Jesus Bible Devotions and Art Lessons for Kids
Author & Illustrator
Drawn to Jesus is an interactive children’s book that combines step-by-step drawing lessons with faith-based Bible devotions, inviting kids to engage with Scripture through creativity. Each lesson pairs a Bible verse with a guided illustration, helping children reflect on God’s Word while bringing the message to life through art.
This project highlights clear visual instruction, whimsical character design, and intentional sequencing. The illustrations emphasize approachability, joy, and visual storytelling, offering a hands-on way for children to connect creativity with spiritual growth in homeschool, family devotion, and classroom settings.
Ruby Ann (Character Development)
Ruby Ann is a curious, energetic girl who loves to make things, ask questions, and figure out how the world works. She’s smart, a little messy, full of ideas, and deeply loves Jesus. Whether she’s inventing something new, dreaming big, or learning through trial and error, her stories grow out of everyday moments and big-hearted curiosity.
This ongoing character work explores expression, movement, and storytelling through single scenes and short sequences. Ruby Ann is being developed with future picture book stories in mind, with a focus on character consistency, emotion, and playful, story-driven illustration.
